Services we provide:
Preventative care:
Starting at a young age regular physical exams are recommended to help keep your pet healthy. Pets age much faster than humans and because of this they need more frequent exams to help detect problems in their early stages. An exam with a Veterinarian is recommended at least once a year based on your pets age and health concerns.
During these routine visits we can also do any immunizations or lab work your pet is due for. We can make recommendations for further care like dentistry or further diagnostics to ensure your pet is getting the best care possible.
General surgery: We perform a variety of routine soft tissue surgeries along with dental cleanings and extractions if needed. Prior to surgery, we run lab work to ensure your pet is healthy for surgery. For more complex surgeries like orthopedic procedures, we have a surgical specalist come in to perform those procedures.
Prior to surgery we require presurgical screening to determine your pets health status. We do this screening to identify any problems that were not apparent during a physical exam. This screening includes a Complete blood count to assess blood components and a Chemistry profile to assess how the organs are functioning.
Diagnostics: When further diagnostics are warranted beyond a physical exam we can provide those services same day. We have the ability to run lab work, fecals and urine samples in house. If further complex testing is needed, we can send samples out to an outside lab. We also have the ability to do x-rays during appointments.
