Kelsey Masterson

Certified Veterinary Technician

Kelsey graduated from Argosy University in 2010. After finishing her internship with Woodbury Animal Hospital, she was hired as a certified technician. Kelsey commutes from her farm in western Wisconsin. When not working, she and her husband can be found caring for their three children, dogs, and cattle. Kelsey enjoys hunting, hiking, foraging off the land, and making cheese with the help of their dairy cows Violet and Willow.


Brittany Hynnek

Certified Veterinary Technician

Brittany has been with Woodbury Animal Hospital since 2014. A graduate of Globe University, she has always known that she wanted to work with animals. She resides north of the Twin Cities on her hobby farm with her husband, cats, and dog. She can be found hiking with her dog Edgar, baking in the kitchen, tending to her vegetable garden or playing video games in her spare time.



Alyssa Adair

Certified Veterinary Technician

Alyssa grew up here in Woodbury where she currently also resides.  She went to school at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls where she received a major in Animal Science and a minor in Agricultural Studies.  She took a break from school and has been working as a technician for the past several years.  She finally decided to go back to school for her tech certification and graduated from Northwood Technical College in the Spring of 2023. She passed her certification test in the Fall of 2023.  She has two dogs named Clyde and Nala. In addition, she has 2 guinea pigs, Peach, Truffles, an axolotl, and some fish.  She also enjoys working part-time at a local emergency clinic to keep up with emergency medicine.


Alivia Grimshaw

Certified Veterinay Technician

Alivia graduated from Alfred State College with a Veterinary Technology degree in 2020. After graduation she worked at a clinic in New York State until she moved to Wisconsin in 2024. Alivia started at Woodbury Animal Hospital soon after. When she isn’t at work she can be found hanging out with her boyfriend, her snake or playing video games on a computer she helped build.


Braden Voigt

Veterinary Assistant


Braden graduated in 2022 from the University of Wisconsin- River Falls. He has hopes of going to Vet School in the coming years. In the meantime, he loves learning the field and improving his skills. Braden enjoys the outdoors and spends almost all his free time hunting and fishing. He lives in Hudson close by with his sweet shepherd Maggie.

Sam Vanase

Veterinary Assistant

Sam started working at Woodbury Animal Hospital in 2024. She is currently working towards her degree in Veterinary Technology at Northwood Technical College where she will graduate in 2025. She currently resides in Woodbury with her cat Baby. When she isn’t busy with work or studying she loves to spend her free time going on horseback rides, baking, and being outdoors.


Cait Griffin

Veterinary Assistant

Cait is originally from South St. Paul, but left the state to attend college. Starting at Holy Family University in her Freshman year and finishing her degree at UW-La Crosse with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. At both colleges, she enjoyed playing competitive volleyball. Cait has two Bernese Mountain dogs named Bella and Clyde and two cats named Nessie and Snickers. When she isn’t at work she coaches volleyball and loves to read, paint and travel. 



Brooke Frederick

Veterinary Assistant

Brooke started at Woodbury Animal Hospital in the fall after spending the summer shadowing. She is currently going to the University of Wisconsin River Falls working towards getting a degree in Animal Science. She has two dogs named Lyla and Bella that she loves to hang out with and spoil. When she isn’t at work or school, she loves to spend time with her family, including babysitting her 3 nephews or reading a good book.

Receptionist

Jean Beaulieu


Jean started at the clinic after taking some time off during the pandemic. She lives with her husband and a trio of sweet pups. She previously worked as a technician before taking a little break from the Veterinary Field, but her love of animals drew her back in. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband and two adult children, go hiking, dock diving with her one pup, and take her dogs to modeling shoots.


Julie Zellmer

Office manager

Julie has been living in Woodbury since 1996 and started as an intern at the Woodbury Animal Hospital in 1991. Julie received her technician degree from the Medical Institute of Minnesota. She lives with her husband and chocolate lab puppy “Amica”. Julie retired in 2022 but still does behind-the-scenes work here at Woodbury Animal Hospital. She enjoys spending time with her two kids and going to Wisconsin to their cabin.
